I'm totally diggin' the traffic light!

I love the face, and the stylized horns. The teeth are gross and I bet that beard has some secrets. Is that a lavish waterfall of hair cascading down his back? Mmm...

it has a good heart but unfortunatly like we discussed falls apart in certain areas.. I think you hsould copy the file and rework it.. since the potential of this drawing is so great.

Hey Chris...long time no comment. I love the design of the character you have going on here. Especially the head/face, but I have to agree with Dan on the fact that it falls apart in a few areas of the drawing. One that really stands out to me is his right arm...to me it looks as if it is protruding from his left arm. I think if you raised it up a bit and showed it behind the right part of his chest just a bit, it would be a little more dynamic becase of the added depth. The other thing that this design made me want is the rest of his legs....seeing such a great action pose and not having the foundation of his legs made it fall apart at the bottom of the image...even just a hint as to where his legs are would be killer....keep on rockin Chris. Your blog is one of the first stops I take when i need to get inspired to draw. Later.

What Elder said. Also kudos for cranking out a nice dynamic pose, lovin' it. What stands out the most to me is the wicked stylized helmet, man I love those horns. I'm not big on the curved mace, i understand the exageration you were going for but its too much i think.

Nice! Great design and face. I'm not crazy on the pose. With both arms in front, he'd loose his balance. It could just be the lack of the other leg too...
