Neptune with Eel

This is the final unframed pic for an art show last year. Tried something different by layering the drawing into separate sections to attempt more depth. Took a lot of planning but turned out the way i'd hoped. some pencil progress and some digital progress and some color ideas. i played around with the idea of a grim reaper instead of neptune but eventually thought against it for the final.

Seeing faces

also known as Pareidolia, I saw this doodle in a bathroom stall at a pub and saw a cool character in it.

This is an on going project i thought of to try and design FX properties in different ways, for instance water splashes completely made of rock or lightning that has lava properties. I thought it would make for some challenging design (and it was). So here are my attempts at a faucet pouring wood and a tornado made of slime.
